VICE-PRESIDENT of this general contracting company, which constructs diversified structures, both negotiated and competitively bid, where superior craftsmanship and attention for detail are requirements. The company's long list of accomplishments include some of the finest shopping centers, restaurants, recreational facilities, showrooms, residential subdivisions, and one-of-a-kind multi-million dollar custom private residences in South Florida. Responsibilities included: client identification and marketing, estimating for new projects; negotiating subcontracts; scheduling construction; supervising field personnel; supervision of accounting and data processing departments; and overall monitoring of construction from start to completion.

1992 - 1993 JAVELIN CONSTRUCTION COMPANY
Fort Lauderdale, Florida
DIRECTOR OF CONSTRUCTION of this general contracting company, comprised a joint venture of the Spear Group and myself, doing both commercial and residential construction, insurance repair, remodeling, and land development. Specialized responsibilities include project management, estimating, planning, and construction supervision.

1987 - 1992 MATRIX CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION
Miami, Florida
GENERAL MANAGER/CHIEF ESTIMATOR of this general contracting company building automobile dealerships, shopping centers, restaurants, gas stations, apartment buildings, and custom homes. Responsibilities included: estimating for new projects; negotiating subcontracts; scheduling construction; and supervising field personnel.

1986 - 1987 GOTHAM CONSTRUCTION, INC.
Miami, Florida
PRESIDENT of this construction company, which built in excess of seven hundred units, spread over five projects. Projects consisted of new construction of multi-family rental apartments, both market rate and government subsidized; condominiums; rehabilitation of low, mid, and high-rise apartments under the HUD Section 8 Mod-Rehab program; and historic restoration.

1982 - 1986 LENNAR HOMES, INC.
Miami, Florida
VICE-PRESIDENT for multi-family construction and joint venture activities in the Dade County area. Responsibilities on multiple projects in the four to sixteen million dollar range included: the management and performance of planning, estimating, purchasing, and scheduling; the supervision of field and office personnel; and future planning to establish production and marketing goals. Corporate responsibilities included code interpretation, overseeing compliance of Florida projects with the State Energy Code, as well as architectural and engineering planning for various new projects.

1979 - 1982 THE CONSOLIDATED CAPITAL COMPANIES
Emeryville, California
VICE-PRESIDENT with direct bottom line responsibility for development including: planning, budgeting, and construction activities; dealing with governmental agencies; and administering draw downs on credit lines. Projects nationally, both new construction and renovation, included low, mid, and high-rise residential, retail, and commercial facilities, as well as condominium conversions. Additionally, inspected existing properties prior to acquisition, and performed due diligence for public offerings, including a one hundred million dollar construction lending trust.

1977 - 1979 CENTURY FEDERAL SAVINGS AND LOAN

PROJECT MANAGER in charge of completing construction of abandoned and foreclosed condominium buildings.

1973 - 1976 HOW SHUG CORPORATION, ETAL
Garden City, New York
FIELD SUPERINTENDENT for land development and construction of various projects including townhouse condominiums, a motel, and recreational properties.

ADDITIONAL BACKGROUND:
Grew up in the construction and real estate field, a family interest for over fifty years. Prior to commencing the above formal career path, with own company constructed single family homes and warehouse facilities, as well as renovated commercial and office space.
As acquisitions inspector for private clients, has traveled to existing projects, both residential and commercial, and evaluated for purchase.

EDUCATION:
SOUTHAMPTON COLLEGE, Southampton, New York
Completed all coursework for Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with concentration in Marketing.
Additional study at Suffolk County Community College, C.W. Post College, and The Ohio State University.
