In this capacity, the authority was responsible for the selection of an architectural and engineering team for the construction of the wrap around of the Miami Beach Convention Center, expanding the building to one million square feet. Upon completion of plans, the Authority selected a General Contractor and monitored the complete construction package. The project was brought in on time, and in budget, at a cost that was fifty percent lower than any other convention center of its size in the United States.

Mr. Singerman attended both John Carrol University and Ohio State University. Art Construction Company is a long standing member Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce.
